Future joined the likes of Eminem, 50 Cent, and Kendrick Lamar as rapper-turned-soundtrack-curator, bringing forth the Superfly Soundtrack to the canon. Naturally, his autotune drenched vocals were all over it, handling nine out of thirteen tracks.
There’s little doubt that his presence will be felt throughout the movie, despite the obvious differences between modern day Atlanta trap and seventies blaxploitation music. Still, the Superfly soundtrack held it down, marking a nice moment in Future’s already storied career. As it happens, there is most definitely more where that came from.
